You don’t need to know how to pose or feel completely confident before you book. Most of the women I work with feel a bit unsure at the start, and that’s completely normal.
My job is to guide you through the entire experience so you feel comfortable, supported, and taken care of from the moment you walk in. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is expected of you.
This isn’t about trying to be someone else. It’s about seeing yourself clearly, maybe in a way you haven’t in a long time.
Boudoir doesn’t have to feel intimidating or overly styled. It can be simple, relaxed, and personal.
It’s a chance to slow down and reconnect with yourself, your confidence, your body, and the parts of you that often get pushed aside in everyday life.
Most clients come in feeling nervous, but it doesn’t take long before that shifts. By the end of the session, they feel more at ease, more confident, and often surprised by how natural it all felt.

Recently, my friend and I did a boudoir session with Amanda from Gibson Boudoir, and it was such a blast! Amanda created an entire luxury experience with a stunning studio venue and a wardrobe of gorgeous and tasteful items to choose from. She encouraged us to bring items to wear and accessories to pose with to show our personalities. During the session, Amanda helped me feel relaxed and comfortable, giving great posing tips and suggestions for shots that would fit the style I was looking for in the photos. Amanda helped us feel empowered, strong, and beautiful throughout the session and is a huge advocate for body positivity. We put on some tunes and enjoyed every minute! Can't recommend her enough!
I have to admit that I was unsure that this was something for me. I mean I'm just a 49 year old mom & Grandma, I've never really seen myself in a sexy or sensual way. My hair and makeup was included in the session and I have to say it turned out beautifully. When it came time for the actual shoot I was nervous but Amanda assured me that I looked amazing and she kept things fun and light, making me smile and laugh throughout the session. I have to say that by the end of the shoot I was totally at ease. I would 100% recommend Gibson Boudoir and now that I've seen my photos I feel very sexy, empowered and grateful to Amanda for encouraging me to do this. As women we all need to feel beautiful and this session absolutely gave me that.
It was such a pleasure working with Amanda for my boudoir shoot. The idea of this kind of shoot can feel quite intimidating and Amanda was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Starting with my makeup and hair and having her own outfits to provide as well. She also encouraged me to bring my own outfits. The studio space was incredible! Amanda made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire shoot. She had fantastic ideas of shots that she wanted and gave amazing direction to obtain them. Being a mom of two (in my 40's) and having a tough time feeling positive about my body in this stage of life, I was definitely nervous about doing a boudoir shoot. I now wish I hadn't waited so long, because it was truly an amazing experience! Amanda was so encouraging and created a very safe and positive space! Hair and makeup were included for that extra special look, and there were outfit options on hand too! She was great at directing me into really flattering poses and made me feel very comfortable the entire time! The photo sneak peaks have me so shocked at how great they look, and it's given me a newfound confidence about this body of mine! My experience with Gibson Boudoir was a memorable one, that I am so grateful for. Going into the day I was feeling a little nervous about coming out of my comfort zone, and having photos taken of myself, but looking forward to this exciting new venture. My Toronto boudoir session with Amanda was amazing! The studio we photographed in was beautiful with a classy ambience. I was hesitant at first not knowing what to expect from a boudoir photoshoot but Amanda is so cool it made the whole experience very comfortable. Amanda has such a keen eye for details and makes sure she captures and poses you in positions, with all your curves and angles to accentuate your most beautiful features. I found the experience empowering and liberating and would recommend that every woman should embrace their femininity and book themselves a boudoir session with Amanda.
