WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO THE ONTARIO BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?
I do have a client closet, however, I suggest bringing a bra and underwear set you love and possibly a lingerie piece you love! Even though there is a lot to choose from in the closet, everyone has different comfort levels and different brands fit differently. If you would like help in purchasing something for your session, I am here to help! Don’t hesitate to ask any questions!
WHAT ABOUT PROPS OR SPECIAL ITEMS?
If you have props or sentimental items you’d like to incorporate into your session, feel free to bring them along. These can add a unique touch to your photos.
IS HAIR AND MAKEUP INCLUDED?
Yes it is! It includes lashes and airbrushing as well! This is a complimentary service. If you do not wish to have it there is no price adjustment.
CAN I BRING A FRIEND OR PARTNER FOR SUPPORT?
No, I don’t allow guests to accompany you. I understand you may feel strange meeting me for the first time, but I promise I will put you at ease. We will become fast friends! We have time to get to know each other during hair and makeup.
DO I HAVE TO DO NUDE PHOTOS?
Absolutely not! This session is for you and your comfort level. And you can change your mind at any point during the session. I only do artistically tasteful nudes.
WILL MY IMAGES BE RETOUCHED?
I take pride in my commitment to preserving the authenticity of your body. I do not alter body shapes. Yes, I do smooth out and reduce/remove pimples, bruises, cuts. All figures are embraced as they are! There is some skin smoothing. I do not fix tan lines, pubic hair, or change features. I celebrate and highlight your natural beauty! You are perfect as you are!
DO YOU SHARE MY IMAGES ONLINE?
I respect your privacy! I have different options for sharing your photos with your explicit consent. 1. Full Release. 2. No nudes, but anything else is good. 3. No face shots, anonymous only! 4. No sharing at all! I appreciate even an anonymous release so I can share content, as that is how I get more business.
DO YOU HAVE A REFERRAL PROGRAM?
Yes! I LOVE referrals! You can earn credits for referring friends who book a session, adding friends to my Facebook group, and writing a review. You can use credits towards a session in the future or buy more products from your previous session.
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
We offer various payment options. A booking retainer is required to secure your shoot. Any collections or a la carte items can be purchased on a pre-payment plan. I offer a perk with a pre-payment plan. Ask me about the details.
WHEN WILL I GET MY PHOTOS?
You will come back for a reveal session 1 week after your session. At that time you will place your order. From there products will be ready within 3 weeks time.
WHERE DOES THE ONTARIO BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION TAKE PLACE?
The Ontario Boudoir Photography session fee includes the home studio location in Burlington, Ontario. There is
a $100 upgrade for the Hamilton studio location and a $150 upgrade for the Toronto studio location.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY SESSION?
It’s recommended to book your session at least 4-6 weeks in advance to ensure availability, especially if you have a specific date in mind. However, feel free to inquire about last-minute openings as well.
WHAT IF I’M NERVOUS OR FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE DURING THE SESSION?
It’s completely normal to feel nervous before a Ontario Boudoir Photography session, but rest assured, I strive to create a comfortable and relaxed environment for all my clients. I’ll guide you through poses and help you feel confident throughout the process. Plus, we’ll have time during hair and makeup to chat and ease any nerves.
CAN I REQUEST SPECIFIC POSES OR THEMES FOR MY SESSION?
Absolutely! I encourage clients to share their ideas, preferences, and any specific poses or themes they have in mind for their boudoir photography session. This helps personalize the experience and ensures you get images that reflect your personality and style
WHAT IF I’M NOT SURE WHAT TO WEAR?
If you’re unsure about what to wear, don’t worry! I’m here to help. We can discuss outfit options and styles during your pre-session consultation, and I can provide guidance based on your preferences and comfort level. Additionally, you’re welcome to browse through my client closet for inspiration.
HOW LONG DOES A TYPICAL SESSION LAST?
A standard boudoir photography session typically lasts between 2 to 2.5 hours, including time for hair and makeup. However, the duration may vary depending on the hair and makeup process.
CAN I BRING MY OWN HAIR AND MAKEUP ARTIST?
While I provide complimentary hair and makeup services as part of the session, you’re welcome to get your hair and makeup done elsewhere before your boudoir session. Just let me know in advance so we can schedule your photography session accordingly.
WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE MY SESSION?
Life happens, and I understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. If you need to reschedule your session, please notify me as soon as possible, and we can work together to find a new date that suits both of our schedules.
